Files under src/core/agent/codex/protocol/generated/ are generated from OpenAI Codex App Server schemas. They remain subject to the applicable Apache License 2.0 terms for the upstream Codex material. The full license is provided at THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES/OpenAI-Codex-Apache-2.0.txt in the source repository and at legal/third-party/OpenAI-Codex-Apache-2.0.txt in desktop packages.

Task Monki's Design instructions and Design skill pack adapt substantial parts of the open-source Claude Design System prompt and skills. The source material is available under the MIT License. Electron and Chromium#

Task Monki desktop builds include Electron and Chromium components. Packaged applications include Electron's LICENSE and LICENSES.chromium.html, which contain the applicable Electron, Chromium, and bundled component notices.

agent-browser and Chrome for Testing#

Design browser verification packages agent-browser 0.34.0 from Vercel Labs. It is licensed under Apache License 2.0. Desktop packages include the upstream license beside the Design browser runtime.

The same runtime packages Chrome for Testing 152.0.7977.54. Desktop packages include CHROME_FOR_TESTING_NOTICES beside the browser. Chromium component notices are also available from chrome://credits while the browser runs.

Main runtime dependencies#

Task Monki's direct open-source runtime dependencies include React and React DOM, Lucide React, electron-updater, node-postgres (pg), node-redis (redis), and yaml. These packages, and their transitive dependencies, remain licensed by their respective authors under the terms shipped with each package or source distribution.
